The name means "Valley of Lovers" in the Mosuo language, which already sounds rather romantic. It's nature at its finest here: dense green trees closing over the path, a stream running alongside you the whole way, and air so fresh it feels like the whole place is quietly working on you. You can plan for a 2-3 hrs. hike.
