Genghis Khan Hitching Post
Genghis Khan Hitching Post is located on the western shore of Hulun Lake, 88 kilometers from Manzhouli City. It is a dramatic cliff surrounded by water on three sides. According to legend, Genghis Khan once trained his troops here and tethered his eight beloved steeds to a stone pillar, which gave the site its name. The area combines diverse landscapes—including grasslands, lakes, cliffs, and wetlands—and serves as a habitat for migratory birds in autumn.
